Susmilk

The main idea of the SUSMILK collaboration project is to analyse and optimise the entire process chain of milk and dairy products in terms of energy and water consumption. The project aims to develop new concepts and technologies for the supply of heat, cooling and electricity and their integration into the respective process stages. The integration of innovative and efficient technologies in a green dairy concept, which will aim to maximize water and energy savings is a central part of the project.

FEUGA’s tasks within the project:

Collection of data on dairy products (WP1), as it is in a leading area in milk production with 55 % of all Spanish dairy farms.
Dissemination activities (WP9), especially in the establishment of innovation communities; Development of open innovation ICT tools.
