FIREPOCTEP+

FIREPOCTEP+ (0139_FIREPOCTEP_MAS_6_E) Large wildfire resilient landscape: emergency response, improving interoperability and operational and social capacity building in the face of climate change

Led by the University of Vigo, FIREPOCTEP+ is the vital evolution of the successful @POCTEP-funded FIREPOCTEP and aims to strengthen forest fire prevention and suppression systems in the cross-border region between Spain and Portugal known as La Raya. The new project design seeks to deepen the work of its predecessor and broaden the results through greater inclusion of the rural population and the development of connected governance protocols.

75% co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under the Interreg VI-A Spain-Portugal Cross-Border Cooperation Program 2021-2027 (POCTEP).
