FIREPOCTEP project is framed within the objective of promoting adaptation to climate change in all sectors, responding to the priority of encouraging investment to address the management of specific risks associated with disasters.
This project is designed to address these challenges, favouring development between the neighbouring border regions of Spain and Portugal, enabling the strengthening of forest fire prevention and extinction systems in both countries and the improvement of resources for the generation of rural employment after the Covid-19 health crisis.
Main tasks of FEUGA:
– Awareness-raising and communication work: carrying out awareness-raising campaigns and training workshops in Galicia.
