On Thursday, June 18, the Palacio de la Oliva (Vigo) will host a new edition of «Encuentros con…», organized by FEUGA and designed as a space for dialogue and reflection on innovation, science, and leadership. On this occasion, we will be joined by Carlos García-Galán, Program Executive for the Moon Base at NASA, which aims to enable sustainable lunar exploration and lay the foundations for future missions to Mars.

García-Galán will focus his talk on lunar exploration and on the role of technological innovation and international collaboration in the future of space missions.

During the session, he will share his experience in developing initiatives related to lunar exploration within NASA’s Artemis Program, as well as the scientific, technological, and industrial challenges associated with such projects, and the opportunities they may generate for business and innovation.

In addition, the session will include an open dialogue with attendees, allowing them to share concerns and ask questions directly to the speaker.

The event will take place on Thursday, June 18 at 12:00 pm at the Palacio de la Oliva, Vigo.
