Last April 8th, FEUGA had the opportunity to participate in the 7th Edition of the BFFood InfoDay, a key event for innovation in the agri-food sector, aimed at learning first-hand about the new call and the available programs offered by BFFood.

The event began with the presentation of this new edition, where we shared insights on the strategic advisory service for companies in incubation and acceleration phases.

The session opened with a keynote speech by Nora Alonso, General Partner at Swanlaab Venture Factory, who addressed the main challenges and opportunities in the agri-food sector.

The challenges of BFFood were also highlighted from the perspective of some leading companies, with contributions from representatives such as Florentino Vázquez, Director at Vegalsa-Eroski, and Lucía Sánchez Nouse, Innovation Project Manager at Hijos de Rivera, S.A.U. 

In the second panel of the event, moderated by our colleague Noelia Vilar, successful startup cases such as BENIU, Néboda and Logicmelt were shared.

The day concluded with an institutional closing session, featuring Juanjo de la Cerda, CEO of Clusaga, and Covadonga Toca, Director of Igape, who discussed the impact of BFFood on the transformation of the sector in Galicia.
