Once again we join forces with the European H2020 IPMworks project to present a demonstration day of innovative agricultural machinery that promises a big change in the application of phytosanitary products in viticulture. The event, which has the collaboration of Clemens Technologies and Bodegas Martín Códax, will take place on July 21 at 11:00h in the Pé Redondo Vineyard of Bodegas Martín Códax, under the title Demonstration of innovative machinery for viticulture.
The demonstration will begin with Lipco’s leading recycling spray system designed for phytosanitary treatments. Thanks to its innovative tunnel spray method, this system reduces drift by 99%. Attendees will have the opportunity to witness first-hand the efficiency of this revolutionary system.
The sprayer responds to environmental challenges and allows a quality treatment, without drift and respecting the vegetation; also achieving great savings in products. Among the many advantages of this application system are the following:
Suspended product particles are recovered, filtered and reused, which reduces product consumption.
The treatment is carried out in a confined environment, resulting in a reduction of contamination and risks for both the user and his environment.
This will be followed by a demonstration of weed control using different mechanical methods. Farmers from the Viticulture Hub that we lead in the IPMworks project will be able to get a close look at the operation of tools such as Intercepas Radius SL+, Intercepas with rotating hooks and the Intercepas finger weeder. These solutions offer effective and sustainable methods for the control of harmful vegetation in vineyards, dispensing with the application of herbicides.
The event will conclude with a final demonstration focused on machinery calibration, a key aspect for its correct operation. Participants will learn about the importance of accurate calibration and how to optimize machinery performance in their winemaking tasks.
This demonstration day is aimed at the farmers of the Viticulture Hub that we lead within the IPMworks project, as well as those close to the Martín Códax Winery. The attendees will benefit from the knowledge acquired in this event, which will mark a before and after in their application of phytosanitary products. The Clemens Technologies machine will significantly reduce the waste of the applied product, with the associated economic and ecological benefits, while ensuring the precise application of the required amount on each vine.
Attendance at the event is free of charge. Those interested in attending, but who are not part of the project or the winery, should send an attendance request by e-mail to communication@feuga.es before July 21. Don’t miss the opportunity to witness the latest innovations in winemaking machinery and improve your farming practices, sign up now and witness the future of viticulture!
