Within the framework of the European SEE BRIDGE project, we organized a national information day aimed at Spanish small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The event, entitled “CBAM Regulation: its impact on SMEs. Good practices and funding opportunities to face the new challenges”, will be held on May 31 from 12:00 to 13:30, in online mode through the Microsoft Teams platform.
The main objective of this conference is to provide Spanish SMEs with crucial information on the European CBAM Regulation and its impact on their business operations. In addition, good practices in green and digital transition will be shared, as well as funding opportunities to address the new challenges posed by this regulatory framework.
The event will feature experts in the field, including Maria Romero Olid, CEO of Cubo Verde (Qi Arrow), who will discuss the new CBAM regulation and its impact on SMEs. The importance of environmental indicators and the calculation of the carbon footprint will also be highlighted, with the participation of Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Eugenio Fernandez Carrasco.
In addition, our Innovation and Entrepreneurship area will present funding opportunities to boost the green and digital transition, as well as Best Practices from which to extract valuable lessons learned. The SEE BRIDGE project focused on the green transition of SMEs will also be presented and its future actions and opportunities will be discussed.
The event will conclude with a question and answer session, giving participants the opportunity to interact directly with the experts and clarify any doubts or concerns they may have, as well as to express their interest in having future one-on-one consulting sessions within the framework of the project.
