On May 8, a new edition of The Way Startup Summit took place in Vigo, the largest entrepreneurship and innovation event in the northeastern Iberian Peninsula. The event brought together startups, investors, institutions, and professionals in a space designed to foster connections between innovative projects, emerging talent, and investment opportunities.
During the event, our colleague Teresa Sixto attended a variety of activities, including startup pitching rounds, leadership sessions, and round-table discussions that gathered experts and ecosystem representatives to explore the challenges and opportunities in the fields of economy and innovation.
iHUB FEUGA participated in this edition with the aim of promoting innovation, knowledge transfer, and the advancement of science and technology based entrepreneurial initiatives. Attending forums like this helps strengthen collaborative networks between knowledge centers, startups, and investors, and allows for the identification of new trends with potential impact.
The Way Startup Summit has become a key meeting point on the national scene, not only for the participation of emerging projects but also for the active involvement of public and private entities committed to developing the innovation ecosystem. This year’s edition brought together over 50 startups, 120 investors, and numerous institutional representatives, creating a dynamic space for collaboration and visibility for impact-driven entrepreneurship.
