On October 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29 the international event GALICIA INNOVATION DAYS 2021, Towards Horizon Europe will be held online and free of charge.  Organized by FEUGA and the Department of Education, Culture and Universities of the Xunta de Galicia, the event will feature a series of panel discussions, presentations of success stories, workshops and meetings to explore future collaborative projects between universities and companies under the EU framework program Horizon Europe.

Keynote speakers and the National Contact Points of the different thematic clusters of Horizon Europe in Spain will address new opportunities for researchers and companies in the different calls. In addition, projects that are already underway will show their future sustainability by presenting their first results and exploring their possible continuity in the new European funding lines.

One of the main objectives of the event is to promote networking among potential partners and collaborators, so Galicia Innovation Days will offer attendees the opportunity to make contacts through the exchange of messages and individual meetings during the four days, in the afternoon.

Each day of the event will focus on a thematic area in line with the grant packages of the Horizon Europe program. The first day will be dedicated to health, as well as culture, creativity and inclusive society. On October 26, the event will focus on climate, energy and mobility. Agrifood, oceans and environment will be the main topics on the 27th and finally, on October 28th, civil security, digital, industry and space.
