“As nosas” is born, an event to showcase women who are the driving forces of Galicia

23/11/2023

To inspire more women, to give visibility to those who are already playing important roles in the Galician economy and to share personal experiences when it comes to entrepreneurship or leading projects. These are some of the objectives of “as nosas”, an event focused on making known and highlighting some of the female profiles that move Galicia today, which will take place on December 1 at our headquarters in Santiago de Compostela. With only one week to go before the event, there are no more vacancies, a sign of the interest that the initiative has aroused. Promoted by Carmen Pumariño and Sandra Castro, and under the umbrella of nosday and the association Startup Galicia, we support the meeting together with IGAPE, from the area of Innovation and entrepreneurship.

Carmen Lence, president of the Lence Group, will be in charge of opening the presentations, exposing the role of the new female leadership in Galician tractor companies. Mar Rodríguez, CEO of NORNNA; Bárbara Román, CEO of NolegalTech and Cristina Vázquez, partner and COO of Teimas will share a table focused on the perspective of women in the workplace moderated by Loreto Peteiro, editor-in-chief of Quincemil. Beatriz Legerén, entrepreneur and professor at the University of Vigo; Cris Barreiro from DuckDuckGo, Irene Prieto, Senior Product Manager at Ikea and Maruxa Quiroga, CEO of TasteLab & SENSESBIT, will be the protagonists of the space dedicated to women of reference. Finally, it will be the turn of new entrepreneurs with Laura Rodríguez, co-founder and CEO of Humara; Rebeca Calvo, co-founder and director of Mentiness Psychology; Sandra Canda, CEO of Sparelajarse and Beatriz Lorenzo, CEO and founding partner of Real Impact.

With free admission although there are no more free places, “as nosas” will also have space for networking over a meal which completes the program of a day that seeks to weave alliances, focus on the work of leaders in their areas and wants to draw the attention of the new generations of entrepreneurs in Galicia.
