El pasado 18 de julio, nuestras compañeras Elena Vázquez y Noelia Vilar, en representación del iHUB de On July 18th, our colleagues Elena Vázquez and Noelia Vilar, representing FEUGA’s iHUB, took part in the closing ceremony of the 1st edition of Business Factory ClimaTech, the environmental accelerator launched by the Xunta de Galicia and promoted by the Galician Cluster of Environmental Solutions and Circular Economy (Viratec). The event, held at the Biopolo de Sionlla in Santiago de Compostela, brought together institutions, companies, and professionals with a shared goal of driving sustainable innovation and the circular economy in Galicia.
Business Factory ClimaTech was born with the ambition to turn innovative ideas into solid business projects, accelerating their development times and multiplying their impact against climate change. Throughout this first edition, participating startups received mentoring, training, financial support, access to infrastructure, and guidance for internationalization and seeking new collaboration opportunities.
During the closing ceremony, we had the chance to learn about the work of the five featured startups:
- Agrolinera, focused on valorising livestock waste to generate biofuels.
- Arraigo, driving solutions for sustainable construction.
- airCO2, specializing in decarbonization technologies.
- Wastex, developing innovative circular economy models in the textile sector.
- Bioaqua, dedicated to innovative water management and treatment, optimizing use for more sustainable management.
All of them represent a transformative vision and provide concrete solutions to the major environmental challenges ahead.
At FEUGA, we celebrate the talent, creativity, and commitment of these initiatives and continue to support projects like those in Business Factory ClimaTech that promote a more sustainable and resilient future for Galicia.
