Since September 2024, Galicia has strengthened its position in European innovation projects<\/strong> through its participation in DRYAD<\/strong><\/a>, a Horizon Europe project coordinated by the Universidade da Coru\u00f1a (UDC),<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>in which FEUGA<\/strong><\/a> plays a key role by leading communication, dissemination, intellectual property, and exploitation activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Integrated into the Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change (MID4Adapt)<\/strong><\/a>, one of the European Commission\u2019s major strategic priorities, DRYAD aims to protect Mediterranean agro-silvo-pastoral ecosystems<\/strong>, which are severely threatened by climate change. To achieve this, the project implements nature-based solutions<\/strong> that enhance the resilience of these ecosystems, safeguarding the environment and the communities that depend on them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As leaders in communication and dissemination, <\/strong>FEUGA<\/strong><\/a> has been responsible, since the very beginning of the project of the communication strategy<\/strong> and visual identity<\/strong>, building a dedicated presence across the website, social media channels, and various events. However, our work goes far beyond visual identity. We support project partners in content creation and ensure that project results are communicated clearly and effectively<\/strong>, bringing science closer to society<\/strong> and highlighting the real impact of research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A representative example of this work is the 2D animated video<\/strong><\/a> we produced for DRYAD. The piece presents the project\u2019s mission, the challenges it addresses, the partners involved, the actions implemented, and the impact it will generate across different territories in a visual, engaging, and accessible way<\/strong>. We managed the entire creative process<\/strong>, from concept development and scriptwriting<\/strong>, carefully structuring all this information into a coherent, clear, and compelling narrative to art direction, animation, and audio post-production<\/strong>, visually conveying each action described and making the content understandable for diverse audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The English and Spanish versions of the video have received an excellent response. Translations into the project\u2019s regional languages (French, Italian, Portuguese, and Greek) are currently underway to broaden its reach and generate a stronger local impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Undoubtedly, animation has established itself as a powerful and effective tool for scientific communication and dissemination<\/strong>, especially within European projects. Its ability to present complex concepts in a clear and visual way makes information accessible to everyone. At FEUGA<\/strong><\/a>, we believe that communicating in a visual and understandable manner is essential to ensure effective, rigorous, and high-quality science dissemination<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
