{"id":44294,"date":"2025-05-30T13:49:33","date_gmt":"2025-05-30T11:49:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.feuga.es\/?p=44294"},"modified":"2025-05-30T13:49:34","modified_gmt":"2025-05-30T11:49:34","slug":"ihub-on-the-way-to-the-4th-edition-of-the-spinoff-europe-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.feuga.es\/en\/ihub-on-the-way-to-the-4th-edition-of-the-spinoff-europe-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"iHUB on the way to the 4th Edition of the Spinoff Europe Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The 4th edition of the <a href=\"https:\/\/spinoff.biocluster.bg\/spinoff-europa-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Spinoff Europe Conference<\/em><\/a> will take place from June 19 to 20 at the Gate Institute in Sofia, Bulgaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This event, organized by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biocluster.bg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>BioCluster<\/em> and the Health and <em>Science Cluster of Bulgaria<\/em><\/a>, serves as a <strong>key platform for promoting technology transfer, science-based innovation, and the creation of university spinoffs across Europe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main goal of the conference is to drive the <strong>development of over 10,000 native European spinoffs by the year 2030<\/strong>, encouraging collaboration between researchers, entrepreneurs, and investors to transform innovative ideas into successful business ventures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our colleague from <em>iHUB <\/em>Teresa Sixto will attend the talks, debates, and round tables taking place throughout the event. In addition, she will also participate on the first day in the session <a href=\"https:\/\/spinoff.biocluster.bg\/spinoff-europa-2025\/agenda-day-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><em>Scaling Science to Market: EU Projects Boosting Spinoff Potential<\/em><\/strong><\/a><strong><em>, where ENACT \u2013 Advancing Biotech for Better Health<\/em><\/strong>, a project funded by <strong><em>HORIZON EUROPE<\/em><\/strong> whose mission is to develop innovative biotech solutions to improve healthcare delivery and outcomes will be presented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the second day of the event, the <a href=\"https:\/\/spinoff.biocluster.bg\/spinoff-europa-2025\/agenda-day-2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><em>Keynote: Tech Transfer Experience \u2013 Best Practices<\/em><\/strong><\/a> will be held, where our colleague will share the team\u2019s <strong>experience in the field of technology transfer<\/strong>, particularly in the<strong> entrepreneurial environment<\/strong>, highlighting the<strong> best practices<\/strong> identified over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She will also be able to attend the spinoff pitching sessions, where startups will present their solutions to an international audience of investors. Over 40 spinoffs from sectors such as health and biotechnology, among others, will be showcased.
