The Galician project PLASMOWINE<\/a>, in which we participate, arises in 2022 with the aim of developing a decision support system to determine the optimal time for the application of treatments against grapevine mildew which, in humid areas such as Galicia, seriously compromises the production and quality of wines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initiative is formed by a multidisciplinary team, specialists in viticulture, botany, phytopathology, aerobiology, statistical modeling and technologies applied to the primary sector. Led by Monet Tecnolog\u00eda e Innovaci\u00f3n SL<\/a>, we participate together with the University of Vigo<\/a>, the research center Estaci\u00f3n Fitopatol\u00f3xica de Arreiro (EFA)<\/a> and Vi\u00f1a Costeira Winery<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The system proposed in PLASMOWINE will indicate the optimum time to apply the first treatment and when it should be renewed, considering the risk of disease as well as the actual efficacy and duration of protection for the fungicides commonly used against downy mildew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are in charge of leading the dissemination activities, which are essential to reach the public with the proposed objectives and the results achieved by this initiative. Within the framework of the proposed activities, PLASMOWINE publishes the triptych, the infographic and the audiovisual animation<\/strong> oriented to the target public such as wineries and cooperatives, regulatory councils of Denomination of Origin, manufacturers of machinery and technologies related to the sector, individual winegrowers and the general public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The infographic<\/a> of the project shows in a schematic way what is the problem detected by the project and how the multidisciplinary team formed in PLASMOWINE wants to solve it. On the other hand, the triptych <\/a>goes deeper into the explanation of the project, describing in greater detail the objectives set, the expected results and the activities to be carried out, among other aspects. Finally, the audiovisual animation<\/a> includes a summary of the main milestones of the PLASMOWINE project, presented in a more visual way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It should be noted that both the triptych and the infographic are available in Spanish, Galician and English to maximize their geographical reach and the impact of the solutions to be developed by PLASMOWINE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
