The event will be online at 10 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"388\" src=\"https:\/\/www.feuga.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Foto-web-FEUGA.png\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"30614\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/www.feuga.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Foto-web-FEUGA.png\" data-link=\"https:\/\/www.feuga.es\/en\/?attachment_id=30614\" class=\"wp-image-30614\"\/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><figcaption class=\"blocks-gallery-caption\">The PROTEINLEG Operational Group develops an innovation project whose objective is to provide alternatives to animal-origin proteins as well as to reduce the high dependency of the livestock sector on soybean as the protein source for feed production. To achieve this, PROTEINLEG bets for traditional varieties of legume as the base for the development of new food rich in vegetable proteins.<br><br>In the initiative, comprised by a multidisciplinary team from different Spanish regions, participate FEUGA, Ramiro Arnedo, Almacenes Gamallo, Mimic Seafood, the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) through the Misi\u00f3n Biol\u00f3gica de Galicia (MBG), and the Fundaci\u00f3n Centro Tecnol\u00f3xico da Carne (CTC).<br>In the webinar, representatives of the participating companies will explain the objectives and activities to be develop in the innovation project. Besides, they will discuss the role of the different companies in the project, and the positive impact that PROTEINLEG will have in the national agri-food sector. The General Directorate of Rural Development, Innovation and Agrifood Training (GDRDIAT) is the authority in charge of the application of these aids.
