FEUGA’S AIMS

To finance chairs, seminars, laboratories or special courses at the Universities of Galicia or any other public institution, similar to this one, which has been considered by the Board or Governing Board.

To procure research grants, inside or outside the University or any other similar public institution, that has been considered by the Board and provide travel bags with the same purpose.

To fund specific scholarship programs for study or research.

To summon prizes for specific jobs.

To finance the publication of doctoral theses or research papers.

To perform, publish and edit books or publications of all kinds on a periodic or circumstantial basis, on topics and issues related to the purposes of the Foundation, as well as collaborate on periodical publications and other media that may contribute to greater reciprocal knowledge of the Company and the Universities of Galicia or any other similar institution that has been considered by the Board or Governing Board.

To organize conferences, meetings, visits and exchanges that contribute to a better reciprocal knowledge of the Companies and Universities of Galicia or any other public institution that has been considered by the Board .

To procure the collaboration and presence of the Companies in University activities or any other public institution that has been considered by the Board or Governing Board.

To promote the creation and provision of specific chairs by Companies.

To facilitate the presence in companies of students of the last career courses, for the purpose of their better training and acquisition of experience in professional activitiess.

To study new professions and specialties useful and necessary to the Company, according to their progress and technological development.

To promote the training and updating of professionals in companies.

To agree with Universities or any other similar public institution, which has thus been considered by the Board or Governing Board, the realization of research programs that are of interest to companies and establish the conditions under which said programs will be carried out.

To agree with Universities or any other similar public institution, which has been considered by the Board or Governing Board, the holding of courses, seminars and conferences and, in general, the work and activities of improvement and updating of knowledge of staff of the Founding Companies or with settlement in the Galician region.

To collaborate in the concerted action programs financed by the Public Administration and any others supported by public or private entities and whose objective is the promotion of research.

Attention to other activities not expressly mentioned that cooperate for the foundational purposes and technological development.
