FEUGA continues to collaborate in strengthening the Galician entrepreneurial ecosystem by participating in notable initiatives: BFFood and the Entrepreneurship Map. Both platforms connect talent, innovation and key players in the region, promoting a more dynamic, coordinated and collaborative environment for the development of new business projects.
The Galician entrepreneurial fabric stands out for its complexity and the growing collaboration between public bodies, private companies and academic centres. In this context, BFFood, a specialist accelerator for the Galician food sector, is an initiative promoted by the Regional Government of Galicia through IGAPE and XesGalicia and coordinated by the Galician Food Cluster (Clusaga). It offers structured support in three phases – incubation, acceleration and consolidation – with key resources such as mentoring, training, advice, services and infrastructure. At the same time, the Entrepreneurship Map offers an organised overview of the resources available to entrepreneurs, making them easier to locate and use. This combination broadens access to specialised support and promotes institutional networking, among other things. FEUGA is an active part of this network.
BFFood: providing tools for entrepreneurs in the food sector
Within this framework, FEUGA has been participating in the accelerator programme, providing strategic advice to participating companies. As part of the work plan proposed for the seventh edition of the acceleration programme, which began in November this year, training in financial management for participating start-ups has been added to the activities already being carried out. This session took place on 13 November and focused on training the promoter teams in fundamental aspects such as the organisation of economic information and its relevance for decision-making, as well as key financial concepts and relevant tools for establishing internal control systems and anticipating needs, moving towards a more solid financial organisation.
Entrepreneurship Map: a mouthpiece for Galician resources
The Entrepreneurship Map is a digital platform promoted by the Regional Government of Galicia that aims to centralise valuable information on resources available to entrepreneurs: incubators, support programmes, advisory bodies, co-working spaces and investment networks. And FEUGA is already part of it.
It currently brings together 145 entities from the Galician ecosystem, allowing entrepreneurs to quickly identify the most appropriate support for their project, facilitating strategic and efficient navigation throughout the Galician landscape. In addition, its design promotes synergies between vertical initiatives and horizontal tools, maximising their collective impact on the ecosystem.
FEUGA: connecting initiatives and enhancing impact
FEUGA positions itself as a key driver of transformation in the Galician entrepreneurial landscape, offering expert mentoring in financing, intellectual property and business strategy to BFFood startups, helping them accelerate their growth with confidence and vision. Its participation in the Entrepreneurship Map reinforces its role as an intermediary: it converts sectoral ideas into projects connected to institutional structures, creating a resilient and lasting support network. Thanks to this collaborative work, FEUGA not only promotes the flourishing of emerging companies, but also contributes to forging a more coordinated, innovative environment full of opportunities for the future of Galicia.
