Entrepreneurship as a Driver: FEUGA Takes the Lead in Strategic Coaching at the 7th BFFood Edition

On July 29th, FEUGA held a new group session of strategic mentoring aimed at the teams participating in the 7th edition of BFFood. This session was led by two representatives from the iHUB team, Noelia Vilar and Teresa Sixto, who guided the participants through a valuable workshop focused on developing their business models.

The session was structured around three key and distinctive blocks:

  • What to consider when creating an opportunity map, which helps identify areas for growth, innovation, and market positioning, essential for spotting new niches and development paths.
  • How to carry out technology and market surveillance to identify emerging trends, relevant technologies, and the evolution of the competitive environment, allowing teams to anticipate and adapt to changes.
  • What benchmarking is, enabling a comparative analysis with sector benchmarks, helping detect best practices, existing models, and differentiating elements.

Additionally, a practical exercise was conducted using a one pager template, a visual tool that summarizes the fundamental aspects of the business model. This crucial practice was complemented by defining the value proposition oriented to the client segment, aiming to align it with the real needs of the target audience and identify differentiating factors.

The session concluded with an update on upcoming activities in the itinerary, highlighting the individual mentoring sessions scheduled to take place soon. These will be personalized for each team to address strategic topics tailored to their needs.
